Notice the horizontal red, white, & blue strips on the top of the shaft.  This was not on the original Full Bore Boots.  See the steel metal guard at the bottom of the three vertical strips.  This piece was not on the very first Full Bore boots with the standard buckle instead of these aluminum fasteners.   When it first appeared it was smaller than on these boots.
