Harness Boots

Harness Boots #1 ]

Another common style of boot, the harness boots, also is now carrying the name of motorcycle boot.  At times it is being mistakenly called an engineer boot!  It is characterized by a ring on each side attached with leather straps and by the squared toe and is usually black.  This style originated in the 60's and 70's and was usually a brown boot.

Worn Out Size 13

Harness Boots, popular today, originated in the 60's and 70's.  This site has some pictures of the brown harness boots made in the 70's and several pairs from today.
