70's MX Boots

The Buckle

With this page we start our journey through several very old motocross boots from the 1970's, especially the early 70's.  You have seen, or will see, Full Bore and Hi-Points also from the 1970's, but this page will show other popular and unique motocross boots from years ago.  These are classic boots!  I plan on adding a few boots each week over the summer.  Norstar was fairly popular with the big while arrow on the front.  Less popular was the all leather Karsmakers.  The third and fourth pair are what I called the "generic" motocross boots of the early 70's.  Usually fairly plain, they varied from all black to various motorcycle brand colors.  They all had 6 buckles, not the 7 buckles of the Full Bores, Norstars, and Karsmakers.  Many more of these will someday be on the site.
